Smile goes a long way

I know what you're thinking, where are all these lovely pictures I keep promising? Well you're right to complain but you must trust me it will be worth the wait. I have some very exciting projects lined up for 2010. Watch this space!

In the meantime I wanted share one of those special moments that make my job so thrilling and exciting. Taken at the Wedding of Rick & Sue in December this little girl made my day, just because a smile goes a long way. Thank Chloe!

I've not decided if I prefer this or the black & white version. The shot was taken in a marquee (yes - in December) with some very strong red lighting, but I kinda like it :)

Rainy days

I had the pleasure of doing the wedding photography for friends Rick & Sue during the Christmas break. As you'd expect the weather at this time of year is rather unpredictable, but am glad to report the rain never damped the spirit of the day which was delightful.

Having recently moved offices I'm still in the process of sorting out the colour calibration of our monitors so processing is on hold for the time being, however I noticed this in the stack and thought it summed up the day quite nicely.

PS. If this looks a little dark, it's because of the calibration of our monitors!
